Tehnopol accompanied the state visit to Israel

On the 27th - 29th of June president Toomas Hendrik Ilves had a state visit the Israel. The visit was accompanied by the Estonian business delegation and counselor Raivo Tamkivi representing Tehnopol. During the three day visit several state meetings, business contact meetings and business forum took place.  

Estonian Israel business forum was introduced by the Estonian Minister of Economic Affairs Juhan Parts. Keynotes were made by Raivo Tamkivi and Aivar Usk representing Tehnopol tenant company Cybernetica.

Raivo Tamkivi introduced Estonian best practices of the role of science parks in Estonia and shared his experiences on developing a science park. Aivar Usk introduced Estonian ICT solutions and main e-developments.

After the business forum Estonian delegation had multiple meetings with local companies, industrial associations, business incubators and competence centers.

President Ilves was accompanied by Chancellor of Justice Indrek Teder, Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications Juhan Parts, Minister of the Interior Marko Pomerants, Riigikogu members Silver Meikar and Toomas Varek, Secretary of State Heiki Loot and Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces Lieutenant General Ants Laaneots.
