The president of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus visited Tehnopol

On the 30th of April the president of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus visited Tallinn Technology Park Tehnopol. During the visit the president was acquainted to Tehnopol and the cooperation terms between the countries where discussed. In addition the president met Tehnopol`s business incubator company Modesat Communications.

President Valdas Adamkus emphasized the importance of technology parks as the developers of country´s economy. The president also approved Tehnopol's development towards creating a knowledge based business environment in Estonia.

"Close cooperation between Baltic states is very important for Tehnopol": said the member of Tehnopol's board Alar Tamkivi. "Today there are lot of companies in Technology Park who are directed to foreign markets. Cooperation between Baltic states helps to improve the competitiveness of our companies export projects".
