Estonian startup initiative Garage48 is joining Tallinn Music 2012 and is focusing on creating web and mobile based music and entertainment products. For that they have joined forces with the music industry conference and festival Tallinn Music Week. Garage48 Tallinn Music 2012 takes place March 23-25 at Ülemiste City in Tallinn, Estonia and Tallinn Music Week follows a week later.

“The theme of this year’s Garage48 event, music, is much wider than just listening to music. We are open to any entertainment, music and artist related projects, be it events, ticket sales, engagement with fans, video services, better marketing for artists, music gamification, creating and publishing entertainment content and so on,” said co-founder of Garage48 Jüri Kaljundi. “Many successful music technology companies come from Nordic countries. As there definitely is potential in this area, we feel start-ups from Estonia and our region should focus more on music and entertainment opportunities as well.”
