Let’s face it: some of the first computer engineers were women, but today the tech-driven engineering field is dominated by men.
Luckily, more and more initiatives are promoting computer engineering and developer jobs among women and many companies already welcome more diverse teams.
At the next Tehnopol Startup Incubator‘s Coffee Morning , we want to see not only women but men to discuss and break the barriers and solve the big question: how could we get more women to STEM jobs?
Why don’t women apply to computer engineering jobs?
We will have 3 superwomen with us that will share their insights to the various career choices.
- Ester Eomois, President of Business Professional Women Organisation will dive into the topic of what remarkable female leaders do differently. How to decide about your career choices? What are the practical tips to outline your career to the leadership position?
- Feride from Turkey has experience in IT as a Software Engineer for 8 years now. She will share her professional journey how she ended up working in Estonia and talks about her experiences as a female developer in a relatively masculine field.
- Merili, Microsoft Talent Sourcer will talk about Female Developers in IT field, based on Microsoft experience.
