Summary of Estonian ICT Week 2017
In the end of May and beginning of June was held the tradional Estonian ICT Week, which included several happenings- Latitude59, ICT Tallinn B2B Matchmaking, Estonian Smart City Annual Conference etc.
It combined a series of conferences and events, addressing different ICT topics and target groups, reaching from start-ups to ICT in industry/production and e-Government related issues.
For example ICT Tallinn B2B Matchmaking had 36 international participants who had 45 different meetings. Smart City Conference, held in Estonian National Museum in Tartu, had about 170 visitors from 20 different countries. Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol helped to oranize the events, especially with business meetings and networking events.
„Matchmaking format is very useful and relevant for these kinds of events, because it gives ICT Week guests an opportunity meet many local entrepreneurs and get useful contacts in a short period of time,“ said Science Park Tehnopol’s ICT Sector Manager Toomas Türk.
We advise to already start arraning events and hosting for next year, as Estonia's 100th birthday celebrations will also be held at this time.
