ProVaHealth Kicks off 28 to 29 November in Aalborg (Denmark)

After approval by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme Monitoring Committee the project ProVaHealth – Product Validation in Health – kicks off 28 to 29 November in Aalborg, Denmark.

ProVaHealth facilitates access to health infrastructures for startups and SMEs. It promotes commercialization based on excellent client validation opportunities, hands-on feedback and input for product development.

The project involves 14 health Living Labs from the Baltic Sea region and works together with the EUSBSR flagship ScanBalt HealthRegion and the European Network of Living Labs.

ProVaHealth is coordinated by Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol Healthtech Manager Külle Tarnov.

Overcoming barriers towards commercialization

A coordinated process is facilitated by ScanBalt HealthRegion  for the Baltic Sea Region to become one test site for development of health care products and services.

ProVaHealth is a very important step in this direction and aims to overcome the following barriers:

Based on the best practices and experiences of the involved partner Living Labs the project works towards concrete improvements within the labs.

In parallel it develops processes for open access to the Living Lab services for SMEs from the entire Baltic Sea region.

The aim is to bring service to 300 SMEs.
