The Interreg project Health3-2-1 <\/strong>is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the life sciences sector operating in Estonia, Finland<\/strong>, and Sweden<\/strong>, supporting their export expansion to the United Kingdom (London) and the East Coast of the USA (Massachusetts and\/or the Washington metropolitan area).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project supports companies in the fields of medical technology, health technology, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology that fall within the EU-defined SME category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation criteria<\/strong> include having a market-tested innovative product\/service, sufficient resources to carry out export activities outside the EU, including adequate revenue, employees, and other necessary resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project duration<\/strong> is three years (2024-2027), and the selected companies will receive support totalling nearly 20,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the project, companies will be offered thematic seminars and trainings<\/strong> conducted by experts from the target countries. Topics will include regulatory, assessment, and validation systems in the target country; reimbursement processes; procurement and funding opportunities; market entry strategies; and sales preparation. Additionally, participants will receive up to 10 hours of personalized mentorship based on their company\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project includes up to three supported business visits<\/strong> to the target country, with organized meetings with potential clients and\/or partners. Furthermore, post-project support from partners and mentors will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ultimate goal of Health3-2-1 is to achieve sales transactions in the target country for at least 15 companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
