The two-day conference will seek an answer to the question\u00a0on\u00a0how to gain more momentum\u00a0to\u00a0the green revolution during times of crisis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the moderators at the conference, an expert\u00a0from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications,\u00a0Karlis\u00a0Goldstein, confirms that new challenges lie ahead for the green revolution, and they will undoubtedly\u00a0be addressed\u00a0at the Summit: \u201cGiving up fossil fuels is socially and economically the most important step since the industrial revolution. In the current situation, where people are looking for concrete solutions, one could ask if we can go forward with the same enthusiasm as two years ago. Behind the crisis spreading like a domino effect, there are one-sided dependencies that we have to learn from,\u201d explains Goldstein and states that a\u00a0balanced green transition\u00a0is\u00a0our\u00a0common interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fifth\u00a0GreenEST\u00a0Summit will be opened by\u00a0the Estonian\u00a0Minister of Economy and Infrastructure,\u00a0Riina\u00a0Sikkut. The conference brings together entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and researchers. For example, the keynote speaker of the energy panel is\u00a0<strong>Yesika<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Aguilera<\/strong>, co-founder of the intelligent technology company\u00a0Tespack. Forbes magazine\u00a0twice\u00a0named Aguilera\u00a0as\u00a0one of the top market influencers under the age of 30.\u00a0Tespack\u2019s\u00a0latest project is a\u00a0Solar Media Bag\u00a0that can turn any space into a smart classroom to bring equality of education to the most remote areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the conference, several world-class opinion leaders will share their experiences. These include\u00a0the\u00a0Swedish environmental policy maker and\u00a0the leader of\u00a0Circular Sweden\u00a0<strong>Anders\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Wijkman<\/strong>, who has been one of the\u00a0principals\u00a0of the green revolution at the European Parliament and the United Nations. Today,\u00a0Wijkman\u00a0is an advisor\u00a0to\u00a0numerous sustainable society and economic model think tanks:\u00a0Earth4All, Club of Rome, World Future Council, and others. Also joining the conference\u00a0are:\u00a0<strong>Tobias Block<\/strong>, one of the managers of the\u00a0eFuelAlliance, which supports the use of carbon-neutral fuel based on hydrogen,\u00a0<strong>Stefan Nilsson<\/strong>, the strategy manager of\u00a0Foxway\u00a0ESG, which promotes the reuse of IT equipment, and\u00a0<strong>Tony Hand<\/strong>, who has earned his living in the Irish mining industry for 30 years, and who this year is the project manager of sustainable mining at the\u00a0TalTech\u00a0Institute of Geology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Welmoed<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Neijmeijer<\/strong>, who leads the expansion of Bolt\u2019s rental services in new cities, and\u00a0<strong>Nina\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Ekelund<\/strong>, the managing director of the\u00a0Haga\u00a0Initative\u00a0network created in Sweden, definitely deserve a special mention. The companies belonging to the\u00a0Haga\u00a0network, like\u00a0Swedbank\u00a0and\u00a0L\u00f6fbergs, have set themselves the goal of reducing the carbon dioxide emissions of the business sector and thus moved ahead of the state\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many reputable Estonian experts and entrepreneurs\u00a0will\u00a0be speaking at\u00a0conference, for example,\u00a0<strong>Helen\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Soov\u00e4li-Sepping<\/strong>, vice-rector of Tallinn University of Technology\u2019s green turn,\u00a0Swedbank\u2019s\u00a0ESG area manager\u00a0<strong>Mihkel Tamm<\/strong>, technology manager of sustainable carbon nanomaterials manufacturer Up Catalyst\u00a0<strong>Einar<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Karu<\/strong>, etc. A total of 71 experts will take part and share their knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe organizers of the conference have managed to include very\u00a0fascinating\u00a0speakers in the program, who share the success stories of the green turn, but\u00a0who\u00a0also bring out the failures.
