The company was founded by IT visionary Taavi Kotka, who came up with the idea to apply the experience of the team to the development of the digital society in Estonia and abroad. Today, the company has found clients all over the world and is partnering with private companies, governments as well as international organisations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe need for digitalisation in healthcare is often one of the first areas where people feel that a continuous and stable identity, data-based approach, transparency and security are all needed to improve the quality of care and cut the cost of healthcare,\u201d says Hille Hinsberg, Product Manager of Proud Engineers on the company\u2019s business in healthcare. \u201cOur partners include software developers, hospitals, insurance companies and public sector decision-makers on healthcare, each of them having a role in advancing the healthcare industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>How can digital experts assist their partners?<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThe desire to digitalise and be innovative on the part of the client forms a good basis, but there should also be a distinct business need,\u201d says Laura Kask. \u201cIf there is no business need and no answer to the question \u2018why\u2019, then we must start by finding that answer. Sometimes, however, the process allows us to see the true nature of the issue.
