A total of 158 participants signed up, with 155 actively contributing to the challenge, collectively logging an incredible 51,905,377 steps over 30 days. Participants could compete either individually or in a team, but not in both categories simultaneously.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly 52 million steps means that, together, we walked the equivalent of <strong>10.5 laps around Estonia<\/strong> in just one month! The average number of steps per participant was <strong>11,162 steps per day<\/strong>, which is a very strong result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners were determined by who logged the most steps over the month, either individually or as a team. Teams could include up to four members \u2013 and with fewer people, you either had to work harder or accept that bigger teams might have a slight advantage. In total, <strong>33 teams<\/strong> took part in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without further ado \u2013 here are the results!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Top 3 teams:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>JOJM (Metrosert) \u2013 2,558,159 steps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insenerib\u00fcroo PLUSS \u2013 2,097,920 steps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science Women (J. Molner Company) \u2013 1,973,643 steps<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Top 3 individual participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mari-Liis T \u2013 1,215,581 steps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kristel K \u2013 732,214 steps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helen A \u2013 691,154 steps<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We had planned to hand out the prizes during the campus summer day event, but since the weather forecast didn\u2019t promise anything remotely summery, we decided to postpone the event. This way, we can enjoy the best food trucks, cheer on the ninja trail teams, and enjoy great music under better conditions. We\u2019ll announce the new date soon \u2013 but step count challenge winners won\u2019t have to wait long for their prizes.
