Tehnopol Startup Incubator\u2019s this season\u2019s first batch of startups will launch from the program \u2013 the months-long training program has been completed and the startups are finally ready to conquer the world! On September 30, the startups were put to the test at the Demo Day, where their companies were introduced to various investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Kadri Tammai, head of the Startup Incubator, the season has been full of challenges, but successful nevertheless. \u201cStartup Incubator\u2019s first batch took off when the whole world was at the height of the COVID crisis and we proved that anything is possible. The fully digital application process, the reception of start-ups and the online training program and mentoring were born in just days and received warm acceptance from startup entrepreneurs. Of course, no digital platform can replace a face-to-face meeting or networking event, but it\u2019s no excuse to put things on hold. I am proud of the founders of our startups, because they the hit gas in their companies while many others were slamming the brake, \u201dsaid Tammai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalja Napsep, the founder and COO of Bidrento, who participated in the program, recalled the time when their company joined the program: \u201cWe joined in the spring, when the world was in a difficult situation and no one knew what was going to happen. We already had the product, but it was the first version, so we needed support to develop it further and increase sales.\u201d She finds that the season has passed quickly and busily for them. \u201cWe have sold a lot and further developed the product. It was certainly useful for us that the Incubator offered a large selection of mentors with whom we could meet and seek advice if necessary. We needed advice at various stages of both the company and the product development, from the legal aspects to the product itself, \u201dadded Napsep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Khuldoon Bukhari, founder and CEO of the smart car park, the Startup Incubator program offered them even more than they originally expected. \u201cAfter a month in the program, we realized that it included much more than the usual seminars and office room offers. We got a mentor dedicated to our startup and the feeling that we can turn to someone with our questions. I cannot stress enough how useful a mentor like Ivo Remmelg has been. And I\u2019m sure every other startup in our batch will agree,\u201d said Bukhari. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Napsep also points out that one of the important aspects is getting to know other teams during the program. For her, the Startup Incubator has given the opportunity to participate in various events and introduce her product more widely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
