The new season of the Startup Incubator opened on September 9 with a practical workshop focusing on business models and managing startup results. According to Ingrid Hermet, CEO of Nutriloop, who is developing a carbon and nutrient recycling system, the training day was very insightful. \u201cThe training day was very practical and concrete. It gave a good idea of \u200b\u200bwhat to think about as a start-up company, \u201dHermet added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next\n6-12 months, various start-up companies will have the opportunity to develop\ntheir product or service, focus on marketing and sales strategies, and achieve\ninvestor readiness. They are assisted by experienced mentors who help them find\nthe most scalable business model possible, advise on attracting investments and\nhelp reach the desired target market. In addition, startups have the\nopportunity to participate in a practical training series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingrid Hermet,\nNutriloop\u2019s CEO, described Nutriloop\u2019s expectations for the coming season:\n\u201cWe expect, first of all, that by the end of the incubation we have a plan\non how to scale our already developed models to other countries and are investment-ready.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

40 new start-ups\nstarted in the Autumn batch. As many as ten of them specialize in space\ntechnology. According to Kadri Tammai, the head of Tehnopol Startup Incubator,\nthere is a growing interest from foreign companies as well: \u201cThis time we are\naccelerating the development of six Finnish and two Swedish companies through\nthe international Northbound Startup project. The program was also joined by\ntwo entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, who came to Estonia specifically to become\npart of the local startup ecosystem and support programs. \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clear\ndevelopment direction of the Startup Incubator is to expand opportunities for\ninvestments and to bring startups investors from Estonia, the Baltics,\nScandinavia and elsewhere by using investor networks and demo days.\n\nCheck out some of the companies that started their\njourney in the Startup Incubator\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to\nBert-Ken Raudberg, CEO of Aufort, who are developing a fintech product\nsolution, Tehnopol Startup Incubator will help their company achieve greater\nambitions. \u201cWe want to launch the product soon and start expanding globally.\nTehnopol Startup Incubator offers practical training and high-level mentoring,\nwhich seemed to be a great opportunity to support the implementation of our\nplans.
