The event has extended its applications deadline until December 14, 2020. In its second year, The Spinoff Prize will focus on companies established in the past three years. It is open to companies that are commercialising life sciences or physical sciences research. Applications from spinoffs seeking to translate innovative new science into commercial applications that tackle global challenges are particularly encouraged.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected spinoffs will be featured on\u00a0nature.com. Shortlisted companies will pitch at a slam event as part of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.curious2021.com\/curious2021\/\">Curious2021 Future Insight Conference,<\/a>\u00a0following which one winner will receive a \u20ac30,000 cash prize.
