On the 30th of November 2016 Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol and Japan entrepreneurship-minded Fukuoka City signed a memorandum of understanding.

Fukuoka is the fifth biggest city in Japan with the population of 1,5M people. Fukuoka City Government has set an ambitious goal of becoming one of the biggest business centers in Eastern Asia. To realize it, Fukuoka contributes actively for the growth of technology centers and startups.
