Film and Multimedia Accelerator

An accelerator programme that supports the rise of technology-driven startups at the IDA Hub Film and Multimedia Innovation Centre

The Film and Multimedia Accelerator is charged with developing multimedia, virtual and augmented reality, storytelling platforms, and other digital solutions that support the film industry and the creative sector.

We help connect startups and the film industry, bringing innovation into the sector and boosting efficiency, sustainability and creativity. We don’t just support technology-driven ideas, we also connect you with experts in the field, giving you direct access to key players in the film industry, the market, and investors. This gives you a unique chance to advance your product or service in a world where innovation and creativity meet high technology.

Our goal is to grow the startups that can make the entire industry more innovative and efficient!

We run a six-month development programme for early-stage technology companies in film and multimedia that want to have a clear business model and paying customers, and to achieve investment readiness.

After completing the first six months, you can continue in a Scaleup growth programme that focuses on raising investment and expanding into international markets.

We have a clear desire to see you succeed, as we are giving you all our services with no monthly fee and for only a 2% participation option. If you succeed, then we succeed together with you!

The next round of applications will open in autumn 2026. Register your interest and be among the first to know when registration opens.
