AI4Cities is looking for smart mobility and energy solutions to achieve climate neutrality

From December 1st, procurers will be able to present their smart solutions to the H2020 AI4Cities project. The first round of innovation procurement will seek solutions to accelerate the achievement of climate neutrality in the areas of mobility and energy.

The proposed solutions must support the reduction of CO2 emissions in the project partner cities, which in addition to Tallinn are Helsinki (Finland), Stavanger (Norway), Copenhagen (Denmark), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Île-de-France (Paris region). The procurement round is open until 28.02.2021.

Tenders can be submitted in two areas – mobility and energy. In the next stages of the procurement, product prototypes are created, followed by testing them in real life. In the final phase of the project, companies are obliged to commercialise the product and make it available in the partner cities. The tenders received in the application rounds are evaluated by the procurers, that is the representatives of the partner cities.
