What do I need to do?

Students can get their free pass by completing a challenge at the TechChill website to show they are seriously interested in the world of startups and entrepreneurship. If you are an IT student or just want to try out your coding skills, you’re welcome to pick the Computing Challenge developed by the smart guys at the Swedbank IT department. If you can’t solve it at first try, don’t worry and be persistent – you can just try again! However, if it’s the business ideas and new solutions that are more your thing, choose the Business Challenge and show us your entrepreneurial spirit and hustle. APPLY HERE.

What are the rules?

Application forms and both tasks are found at techchill.co/student. All students aged 18-25 currently enrolled in any university are welcome to apply, with no geographical restrictions (i.e., from anywhere in the world) and regardless of what you are currently studying. Most importantly, don’t miss the deadline and apply no later than November 19! OF course, the sooner you apply, the more you can be sure to be one of the 100 lucky free pass holders!

What is a Student Pass?

A Student Pass will give you everything included in the standard Event Pass. That means two eventful days mingling among 1700 developers, entrepreneurs, startups, techies and other great people from all over the world in Riga on February 8-9, 2018! A pass includes full access to both days of TechChill agenda across two stages at the recently renovated VEF Culture Palace with 100 speakers – founders, investors, experts – who will share their insights on entrepreneurship and the future of tech. You also get access to all public side events, including two exclusive afterparties.

Why should I come anyway?

If you consider working in tech, startups or want to know how the world of entrepreneurship works, TechChill is the best way to get the first look. Our first speakers Nikolay Stronsky, founder of Revolut, Miki Kuusi from Wolt, Eventbrite founder Renaud Visage, Peter Vesterbacka of Lightner and more – check out all the speakers already announced here. But it’s not just the agenda – you will also get to discover the Startup Expo with the coolest startups from the Baltics, as well the Business Expo, where you can find the leading companies in the field and potentially meet your next employer.

Anything else I need to know?

If you’re a student in the Baltics, maybe we’ll meet in person! In partnership with Swedbank, TechChill and our startup friends will visit the main universities in all three Baltic states with guest lectures about the startup ecosystem and share success stories. Check out the Student Challenge page for the next lectures in the calendar!
