Living Labs meet in Oulu

Our health technology department in Tehnopol is leading the Provahealth project, which facilitates access to health infrastructures for startups and SMEs. On 16-17th of October the ProVaHealth Project Meeting and Living Lab Development Workshop No 6 is held in Oulu.

Provahealth facilitates access to health infrastructures for startups and SMEs aiming for commercialization with excellent client validation opportunities, hands-on feedback and input for product development. The project involves 14 health Living Labs from the Baltic Sea Region. Among others, four companies from the Tehnopol network have validated their product internationally.

In collaboration with partners, the concept of a live laboratory has been defined, business models for participating living laboratories have been updated, policy recommendations have been made for developing living laboratories in the Baltic Sea region, and an evaluation tool has been developed to identify the bottlenecks and strengths of the living laboratory (https://scanbalt.org/livinglabs/toolbox/.

You can hear more about the project and meet the LLs during workshops on Thursday, 17th of October. The main theme of the event will be “Impact and results assessment, benefit realization” and it will take place in Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Kiviharjuntie 4, 90220 Oulu, Finland from 9 AM – 15:30 PM.
