RAISE – Regional AI Initiative for Scaling Enterprises

RAISE is an Interreg Central Baltic Programme project designed to support growth-stage companies in developing and adopting artificial intelligence solutions.

The project brings together SMEs and AI solution providers from Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Sweden to accelerate the development and market entry of new innovative products and services.

RAISE focuses on practical collaboration. Participating companies can develop their AI-based ideas together with experienced experts, mentors and technology providers. The project creates opportunities for validating, prototyping and piloting new products, supporting companies’ growth, export potential and international competitiveness.

Project aim

RAISE helps companies integrate artificial intelligence solutions into their existing products and services, creating new competitive advantages and supporting international growth.

The project also creates opportunities for local AI solution providers to reach new international clients and cooperation partners.

Participating companies receive

• access to AI experts and solution providers;
• individual mentoring and advisory support;
• opportunities to develop, validate and pilot AI solutions;
• opportunities to take part in international cooperation and matchmaking activities;
• support for bringing solutions to market and scaling them internationally.

The project provides a structured programme where the most promising ideas are selected and developed into practical solutions together with project partners.

Target groups and stakeholders

The main target group of RAISE is SMEs with AI ambitions and a clear business challenge that can be addressed through artificial intelligence.

The programme is aimed at companies that are:

• in the growth stage;
• export-oriented;
• based on a scalable business model;
• ready to develop or adopt AI-based solutions.

AI solution providers are also important cooperation partners in the project, including:

• platform and technology solution providers;
• system integrators;
• consulting and development companies;
• other service providers supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence.

International cooperation

RAISE connects partners from Estonia, Latvia, Sweden and Finland, bringing together strong innovation ecosystems and helping companies find suitable cooperation partners across borders.

Collaboration with AI solution providers creates new opportunities for companies to adopt technologies, develop products and enter international markets.

As a result of the project:

• new AI-based solutions will be developed and validated;
