Ready2Scale

The Ready2Scale project aims to connect and build synergies between local digital and deep-tech (DDT) ecosystems, focusing especially on the Widening countries and wide reach amongst them. It also aims to connect them also to the larger European business ecosystem, establishing lasting connections between the ecosystems and with the EU-wide initiatives and mechanisms offered to (DDT) start-ups, with the focus also on the EIC Offerings.

To support cross-border scale-up of the DDT start-ups, Ready2Scale provides an 6 months long Acceleration programme, combining a range of capacity-building activities with emphasis on the most pressing issues of the DDT start-ups, and the financial support.

One of the key elements of this project is to raise the awareness and the competencies of Widening counties enabling them to provide a better service for the start-ups and by that close the geographical cap between more developed ecosystems and less developed ones.

To stimulate European investments in digital and deep tech sectors, the Ready2Scale project will deliver a deep tech investment training module for early-stage investors, building upon the know-how generated by the New Nordic Leads training programme (training programme that boosts cross-border investments by improving start-ups’ investment readiness and educating the next generation of lead angels in the Baltics).

Value offer for partcipants:

• Cross-border collaboration among DDT startups from various regions.
• Increase participation and engagement of DDT startups with EIC programs and initiatives.
• Educate and inform the European investor community about the potential of deep tech businesses, fostering confidence in evaluating and investing in this dynamic sector.
• Create connections among prospective investors and DDT startups
• Various online and onsite matchmaking events and seminars
• 6 months long acceleration program with a financial support up to 60,000 EUR per start-up (2x Open Calls and in total 25 startups will receive funding)
• Market Discovery Missions for startups selected to the Acceleration program
