Tehnopol Startup Incubator mentored startups in Pärnu

Starting from last Autumn until the end of July this year, Tehnopol Startup Incubator offers an incubation program to five start-ups in Pärnu in cooperation with Pärnumaa Arenduskeskus. Start-ups undergo a comprehensive training program and mentoring sessions by both expert and lead mentors. Last week, the Tehnopol Startup Incubator team went to mentor the companies in Pärnu County.

According to Anne-Liisa Elbrecht, Head of Startup Incubator’s services, there are many ambitious start-ups in Pärnu County. “Most Estonians know Pärnu as an excellent summer resort, but in reality, a lot of fierce start-ups also emerge from there, which have the potential to bring products to the market both in Estonia and globally. We have mentored very promising companies such as Tuhat Sõna, which creates posters from books, Mateemik, which produces educational board games, and Dreamsville, which produces items that support better sleep quality. Several teams have started exporting to other markets and we are helping them to increase their reach, ” she said.

“Tehnopol Startup Incubator’s team feels strongly that exciting start-ups must be sought and supported outside Harju County. As a result, we already support teams in both Pärnu County and Ida-Viru County, and we are open to further offers to support entrepreneurs from different regions, ”added Elbrecht.
