The Spinoff Prize applications deadline extended!

The Spinoff Prize aims to celebrate excellence in commercialisation of university research through the creation of spinoff companies. The event has extended its applications deadline until December 14, 2020. In its second year, The Spinoff Prize will focus on companies established in the past three years. It is open to companies that are commercialising life sciences or physical sciences research. Applications from spinoffs seeking to translate innovative new science into commercial applications that tackle global challenges are particularly encouraged. 

The selected spinoffs will be featured on nature.com. Shortlisted companies will pitch at a slam event as part of the Curious2021 Future Insight Conference, following which one winner will receive a €30,000 cash prize. All of our featured spinoffs are offered a digital ‘badge’ to flag their success to interested parties.
