Paradocs AI, Sirob Technologies and Drivory named top teams of the seventh Tehnopol AI Accelerator cohort

Paradocs AI, Sirob Technologies and Drivory each received a €10,000 product development grant after standing out in the seventh cohort of the Tehnopol AI Accelerator with the progress and potential of their solutions.

The results were announced on 15 September at the From AI innovation to business value event held at Telia’s headquarters, where eight companies that had completed the Tehnopol AI Accelerator programme presented their solutions: Ignostiq, Codemowers, Paradocs AI, Smorty, Sirob Technologies, Narfe, Drivory and PAM, the Family Assistance and Medical Platform.

Paradocs AI is developing an AI-based solution that automates the creation, updating and management of technical documentation for machinery and other regulated products.

BORIS by Sirob Technologies OÜ is an AI-powered internal knowledge management assistant that connects information across different company systems and helps employees quickly find reliable answers.

Drivory is developing an AI-powered, location-aware audio guide that provides visitors with real-time stories and information about the places and buildings around them.

From AI experimentation to real business value

The event brought together AI solution developers, innovation leaders and practitioners to explore how organisations can move from experimenting with AI to solutions that create real value for companies and their customers. The event was jointly organised by the Tehnopol AI Accelerator, the Innovation Leaders Club and AIRE Club.

The day opened with Sten-Kristian Saluveer, Chief Growth Officer at Telia, and his talk “How to Build a Value-Driven AI Ecosystem.” Saluveer stressed that AI adoption should not begin with the question of which model or tool to use. The first step is to understand what problem is being solved, what value is being created and whether that value will remain relevant as technologies continue to change.

He also highlighted that the greater potential of AI lies not only in making existing activities faster or cheaper, but in creating solutions that were not previously possible. At the same time, organisations need to make deliberate choices about what should be automated, where humans should remain central and which principles should guide the use of AI.

Eric Butterwick, AI Acceleration and Adoption Manager at 3M, shared the company’s practical experience of adopting AI. 3M has created an internal AI environment called 3M Navigator, which allows employees to use new tools securely and in line with company requirements. Adoption is supported through training, practical workshops and the sharing of use cases.

Butterwick recommended starting with a clear understanding of existing workflows and identifying specific areas where AI can simplify or speed up processes. He also noted that the newest technology is not automatically the best choice. What matters more is how well a solution fits into real workflows and what measurable value it creates.
