The Tehnopol AI Accelerator speeds the path to market for technology companies creating solutions built on artificial intelligence

The Tehnopol AI helps bring to market the promising solutions built on artificial intelligence created by robust new technology companies.

A specialist training series focused on AI together with mentors and experts who are among the best in the business will help participants complete the AI Accelerator, and will work each week with the teams. All the teams who participate in the accelerator can use the co-working space of the Tehnopol Science and Business Park.

We are looking for early-stage startups or spin-offs developing AI technologies to join our 6-month AI Accelerator to get support and training from our expert mentors in bringing their products or services to the market faster and overcoming barriers to the market.

We also welcome applications from students, researchers and SMEs working with AI who have previously been through an AI programme and want to launch their AI products or develop new business lines or products.

Startups that complete the AI Accelerator programme will be able to present their solutions at the Demo Day to an expert panel of AI specialists, key mentors, and providers of follow-on funding from Estonia and abroad, if possible, and to people from Tehnopol. They will showcase the goals they have achieved, the unique features and business potential of their AI solutions, and their profitability and their plans for the next three months.

The panel will choose up to three of the AI startups that have the greatest business potential and will award them development grants of up to 10,000 euros.

Participating in the accelerator is free and we do not take any stock options. Eight companies are chosen to join the programme from each round of applications. To be chosen you will need a scalable business idea based on AI, a dedicated and skilled team, and a prototype or the capacity to build one during the accelerator.

The AI Accelerator is part of the Tehnopol AI Development Programme, which is designed to help Estonian businesses introduce artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, making them more competitive and keeping the Estonian economy sustainably successful in the future. Tehnopol launches and funds pilot projects based on AI, organising development marathons, running an accelerator with a six-month development cycle, and sharing all of the knowledge gained during the programme with other businesses.
