The contribution of female refugees helps to shape services that promote entrepreneurship

As part of the BSI_4Women project, we at Tehnopol, along with partners from Poland, Norway, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, and Sweden, are collaboratively conducting a study aimed at identifying the creative potential, objectives, and motivations of female refugees concerning the establishment of businesses.

The BSI_4Women (Baltic Business Development Initiative for Refugee Women) aims to provide assistance to women who have had to escape conflict zones. The project is centered on female refugees from Ukraine, among others, with the objective of aiding them in reestablishing life stability and achieving professional independence through the initiation of their own innovative enterprises.

Read more about the project here.

We aim to identify the requirements of this specific demographic in terms of the essential skills and resources required to establish a business. This includes their readiness to take risks, generate innovative ideas, and possess an inclination to manage their own business.

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in spreading this information to ensure that the survey reaches as many female refugees in Estonia as possible.

The objective of the study is to customise the forms and tools created within the project to actively assist entrepreneurial women in re-entering the job market through self-employment. This will empower them to cultivate business ideas, especially ventures with innovative potential.

We invite you to participate in our research by spreading the message or completing the survey (anonymous) from the link below.

Survey can be found here (in English and Ukrainian)

Deadline for filling out the survey is October 2!
