Seven companies selected for Cyber Accelerator to develop new solutions for preventing cyber threats
Tehnopol Accelerator, in cooperation with the Estonian Information System Authority (RIA) and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), runs the Cyber Accelerator, which supports cybersecurity startups in developing and bringing new products and services to market. Seven companies have been selected for the fourth cohort of the programme, developing solutions that help prevent cyber fraud, protect sensitive data and strengthen organisational cybersecurity, among other areas.
The Cyber Accelerator aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the cybersecurity sector and support the commercialisation of new technological solutions. Over the seven-month programme, the selected companies will develop their products and services with the support of experienced mentors and industry experts. They will also have the opportunity to receive up to €60,000 in grant funding.
The following companies have been selected for the Cyber Accelerator:
- Culfig is developing PhishTriage, a solution that helps people quickly assess whether suspicious emails and websites can be trusted. The browser extension provides a clear, easy-to-understand assessment of potential scams or phishing attempts with a single click.
- CyberEducation is developing a mobile Cyber Escape Room that helps organisations improve employees’ cybersecurity awareness through practical cyberattack simulations. Built inside a trailer and brought directly to the client’s premises, the solution provides organisations with an overview of their main risks and recommendations for reducing them following the training session.
- Glazer Technologies is developing a secure intelligence collection and analysis platform that integrates multiple data sources and uses artificial intelligence to process information. The solution helps cybersecurity, financial crime and intelligence teams make faster, better-informed decisions.
- Jaculus Consulting is developing Intrudect, a solution that helps companies detect suspicious activity and potential cyberattacks within their internal networks. The self-hosted platform combines network monitoring, threat detection and response capabilities into a single solution designed to be accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises.
- Privatron is developing a cyber risk management platform that helps companies assess and monitor risks associated with their suppliers. The software automates supplier assessments, helps identify critical vulnerabilities and simplifies demonstrating compliance with cybersecurity, data protection and artificial intelligence regulations.
- Superior Est is developing ScamSense, a solution that helps prevent phone scams by detecting suspicious behavioural patterns during and after calls. When potentially fraudulent activity is identified, the app alerts a trusted contact designated by the user, allowing them to intervene before financial harm occurs, without sharing call content or contact details.
- Transpara Labs is developing CryptoMove, a solution that uses encryption to protect sensitive personal data collected by video surveillance systems. It enables AI-powered video analysis while keeping individuals’ identities protected, with sensitive information disclosed only when necessary and through secure, controlled processes.
Throughout the accelerator programme, the companies will receive support in product development, business model development, market entry and preparation for fundraising. They will be guided by RIA experts, Tehnopol mentors, and experienced entrepreneurs and investors. In addition to training sessions and individual mentoring, the companies will have opportunities to expand their professional networks and establish relationships with potential customers and partners.
The Cyber Accelerator project is co-funded by the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
