Solaride revealed the first Estonian solar-powered car

On September 24, the Estonian start-up Solaride revealed the first Estonian solar-powered car in Tartu.

It took 651 days, 257 787 Slack messages, 10 different designs and now this car is finally ready. During the Researchers’ Night, the solar-powered car was revealed to all.

Solaride is an educational technology project, which includes young talents and expert mentors from Estonian universities and companies. Their aim is to popularise technical education and sustainable technology, and give young talents valuable practical skills, experience and contacts.
