Startup Incubator’s 3rd batch finished their first workshop

Startup Incubator’s current incubants just had their first workshop. Raido Pikkar and Pirko Konsa educated the teams about the ABC of starting a startup.

Hive, one of the incubants, is developing an intelligent battery charging system connected to IoT, which is primarily intended for electric scooter and bicycle rental service providers to reduce their operating costs. Team representative Erik Punane said that the incubator has already benefited them greatly. “This is our first time in the Startup Incubator and all assumptions about it have proved to be true. The Incubator has already been extremely useful with its mentors and workshops. The mentors have been supportive and provided very good input on how to develop our product and from which aspects we should approach our service. We have also expanded our professional network compared to the pre-Tehnopol time. In addition, we also expect a lot from workshops. From the first workshop, we have already received valuable information on how to set our action plan and other plans more sensibly. I believe we’re in for a very valuable 5 months, “said Punane.

The incubator training program lasts a total of six months, during which topics range from business models to law and finance. You can find out more about the Incubator program here.
