The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tehnopol help introduce the innovation of Estonian companies to the world

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched an important project to support the Estonian economy and creative life and increase exports – the creation of innovation nests at Estonian embassies across the world. Tehnopol is extremely pleased to be the main partner for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in leading the project.

For this project, open showrooms or innovation nests will be created at nine Estonian embassies to introduce companies’ innovative solutions. In order to create the concepts, idea sessions will be held on February, 18-20. Companies creating innovative solutions as well as people working/studying in the field of interior architecture, design and IT are welcome to participate.

The teams participating in the idea sessions will come up with a comprehensive conception for each location’s showroom, which integrates both the content of the innovation space (companies with innovative solutions and leaders in the creative field) with good space and exhibition design. Showrooms will be established in the embassies of nine cities: Tokyo, Toronto, Berlin, London, Seoul, Riga, Nairobi, Abu Dhabi and Singapore.

The teams will be working in teams of five in the idea sessions, which bring together both current and future experts from the Estonian business and creative industries, as well as the interior design and IT field. This is a good opportunity for companies to introduce themselves in the target markets. The teams are led by top-level professional mentors, experts from the host countries and mentors from different fields.

The prize fund of the Innovation Nest idea sessions is 10,000 euros.
