Three companies from the Tehnopol AI Accelerator receive €10,000 grants
How can a drone navigate when satellite signals are unavailable, how can a child learn a new language without a screen, and how can software projects become more clearly focused on outcomes? These are the challenges being addressed by Passer Systems, Duotale and Scopeful, each of which received a €10,000 development grant at the end of the sixth Tehnopol AI Accelerator cohort.
The grant recipients were selected at the Demo Day held on 1 June, where the companies completing the accelerator presented their solutions, progress and next steps. The jury recognised the three AI-based solutions with the strongest business potential, awarding a total of €30,000 to support their further development.
AI solutions from navigation to language learning and software projects
Passer Systems is developing an AI-based inertial navigation system that enables unmanned aerial vehicles to determine their position accurately when the Global Navigation Satellite System, or GNSS, is unavailable or its signal is disrupted. The solution is designed for unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturers that require reliable positioning even in challenging conditions.
Duotale is developing a screen-free language-learning platform that helps parents and teachers support children in learning a new language during the period when they are most receptive to language acquisition. Based on listening to stories, the solution creates a natural bilingual environment and helps children acquire a new language in a way similar to how they learn their mother tongue.
Scopeful is a platform that helps software companies and AI agencies plan and deliver outcome-based projects. The solution enables companies to define project scope, expected outcomes and ways of working more precisely, reducing uncertainty and linking the work more clearly to the value created for the client.
Helping companies validate their solutions and grow
The Tehnopol AI Accelerator supports early-stage companies developing AI-based products and services. During the accelerator, teams work with mentors and industry experts to develop their business models, refine their value propositions, validate their solutions with customers and prepare for future growth and funding rounds.
The Demo Day for the sixth cohort was held alongside an AIRE Club event. During the first half of the day, the accelerator companies presented their solutions, while visitors could also meet the teams and explore their products in the demo area. The second half focused on the role of artificial intelligence in strengthening defence capabilities and resilience and developing scalable solutions.
