Three companies with Estonian ties selected for NATO DIANA’s next adoption stage
Two companies that previously took part in the NATO DIANA Estonian Accelerator have been selected for NATO DIANA’s 2026 Mission Track. US-based Earth intelligence company SkyFi and Spanish airspace technology company Vig-Sec Drone are among 15 companies entering the programme’s follow-on adoption stage. The cohort also includes Tallinn-based Spacedrip, the only Estonian company among those selected.
The 15 Mission Track companies come from NATO DIANA’s 2026 cohort of 150 innovators, selected following a challenge call that received more than 3,600 proposals. Mission Track is DIANA’s follow-on adoption programme for companies that demonstrate strong defence interest and alignment with Allied operational needs. Each company receives €300,000 in non-dilutive funding, continued access to NATO test centres and tailored support to accelerate adoption, including help with procurement and acquisition pathways, validation in relevant operational environments, industry collaboration and raising capital.
Satellite intelligence and low-altitude airspace
SkyFi, headquartered in Austin, Texas, develops Sovereign Intelligence Platforms that combine access to more than 300 commercial satellites with AI analytics. The platform brings together optical, radar and thermal imagery and is designed to integrate with existing command-and-control systems. It can be deployed in-country, allowing national users to retain control over mission planning, satellite tasking and analysis.
The underlying technology also has civilian applications in agriculture, energy, infrastructure and insurance. In defence, SkyFi has received a prototype contract from US Special Operations Command to deliver commercial satellite imagery through an ATAK* plugin and develop a prototype Sovereign Intelligence Platform. The company has also launched an integration with Esri’s ArcGIS environment, allowing imagery to be ordered and streamed directly within existing geospatial workflows.
Vig-Sec Drone, based in Spain, develops technology for managing low-altitude airspace where drones, crewed aircraft, counter-drone sensors and command systems need to operate at the same time. Its Suite ACRE platform combines real-time planning, control, data fusion and dynamic airspace reconfiguration, and is designed to work across different platforms, communications technologies and command-and-control systems.
The company has already tested Suite ACRE in Estonia. During Spring Storm 2026, the system was deployed to improve unmanned-systems control and low-altitude airspace coordination. At Steadfast Dart 2026 in Germany, Suite ACRE coordinated low-altitude operations involving manned and unmanned assets, while at Strong Lineage 2026 in Slovakia it connected unmanned aircraft, counter-drone systems and command-and-control systems and achieved NATO Allied Land Command validation.
The cohort also includes Spacedrip, a Tallinn-based developer of autonomous and deployable water-reuse and wastewater-treatment systems. Its closed-loop systems are designed for demanding environments and, according to the company, can reduce water resupply needs by up to 95 per cent. Spacedrip has produced 30 defence and civilian systems, with equipment currently operated and used by the Estonian Defence Forces, US Army and Australian Defence Forces.
The other 12 companies selected for Mission Track are Alias Robotics from Spain, BruhnBruhn Innovation from Sweden, Deep Breathe from Canada, CET from the United States, Cohesys from Canada, Fieldmade from Norway, Hefring Marine from Iceland, Infrahex from Czechia, JET Connectivity from the United Kingdom, Mesodyne from the United States, OledComm from France and Spaceflux from the United Kingdom.
Across the cohort, the technologies span cybersecurity, biotech, communications, uncrewed vehicles, space and maritime defence.
Estonia’s role in Mission Track
Tehnopol Accelerator is one of 15 activated accelerator sites in NATO DIANA’s Mission Track network. The sites give innovators access to local expertise, end-users, industry and investors across the Alliance as they work towards defence adoption.
In Estonia, companies can connect with an ecosystem that includes the Estonian Defence Forces, the Estonian Defence League, NATO CCDCOE**, the NATO DIANA regional hub in Tallinn, investors and defence-industry companies. Estonia is also home to eight NATO DIANA test centres.
The NATO DIANA Estonian Accelerator, operated by Tehnopol and Sparkup Tartu Science Park, has supported 28 DIANA innovators across three cohorts since 2023. Seven of those companies have been accepted to Mission Track.

The NATO DIANA Estonian Accelerator is operated by Tehnopol and Sparkup Tartu Science Park. It is funded by the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence and the City of Tallinn.
*ATAK is the Android Tactical Assault Kit, a mapping and situational-awareness application used in military and other operational environments.
