The United Kingdom is one of Europe’s largest and most open technology markets, and the London–Oxford–Cambridge innovation region — Golden Triangle — brings together world-class research, strong industrial partners and an active investor community. An English-speaking business environment and a strong customer base make it a logical next step for a company that has already validated its product at home.

Advance4Growth helps deep-tech small and medium-sized enterprises from the Central Baltic region — Estonia, Latvia and Sweden — enter that market. The project focuses on artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, green technology, and health technology. A shared platform across three countries gives small companies greater visibility, credibility and access than they could achieve entering the market alone.

Objective

The project’s objective is to help participating companies reach UK customers, investors and research institutions. We select and prepare suitable companies, share market knowledge at thematic events, provide mentoring from UK experts, organise business missions to the Golden Triangle together with incoming visits, and support companies in scaling up through networks, contracts and investment.

Who it is for

We welcome early-growth deep-tech companies whose products are based on scientific or engineering discoveries and that already have product validation, first paying customers or pilot projects. Both first-time exporters and companies already active in other markets that want to add the UK to their target markets are a good fit. We expect a readiness to commit both time and budget to the project.
