Startup Story: BeyondCode AI X Tehnopol Startup Incubator
Tehnopol Startup Incubator’s tech accelerator and specialized accelerator programs support dozens of high-potential startups every year as they develop their products and services. One of them is BeyondCode AI.
BeyondCode AI develops and implements AI-powered voice bots that automate customer calls and debt collection workflows for financial institutions operating in the EU (lenders, leasing companies, debt management firms), while remaining compliant with GDPR and the upcoming EU AI Act. Our focus is practical: broader contact coverage, a consistent tone of voice, minimized manual work, and an auditable process that can be clearly measured and managed.
Founder and CEO Henri-Georg Eiche has a background in EBS, building systems, and project management – an ability to take a business bottleneck and quickly turn it into a working technical solution that performs reliably in production. He introduced BeyondCode AI’s plans.
How did you come up with the idea to create a startup?
“We started in 2024 as an AI agency and served more than 20 clients with various B2B AI projects. Through that, two things became clear very quickly: first, that the ‘chatbot wave’ is already widely available on the market and has become standard for many; and second, that the next logical step is voice. That’s where the desire to build a voice bot platform came from – something new that wouldn’t be outcompeted at the ‘chat layer.’ Within the voice bot niche, we saw that the clearest value and greatest need is in the financial sector: the phone is still a critical channel, and automation delivers a direct and measurable financial impact for clients. That’s how we arrived at our focus: automating calls and debt collection for financial institutions.”
What have been the biggest challenges/failures and the biggest wins so far?
“The biggest challenge has been starting from zero and proving myself as a young, 24-year-old founder in a sector where the average decision-maker is often 40+. The biggest win has been partnering with Bondora, which confirmed that we’re moving in the right direction and that the market genuinely needs this solution.”
What sets BeyondCode AI apart from competitors?
“We stand out because we don’t just sell ‘AI software.’ We take the same core component and tailor it to the customer with the precision of a bespoke suit: the call flow, rule set, permitted time windows, quality control, and logic are built around the specific organization. We’re also straightforward about outcomes: if we don’t deliver the agreed results, we refund the money.”
Why did you apply to the Startup Accelerator?
“Tehnopol came up repeatedly on our journey – both through recommendations and through success stories we’d seen first-hand. We decided to join because it offers a rare combination: experienced mentors, a working support network, and a strong community of entrepreneurs. There’s also a very practical side – this is an environment where the team can work together daily, test ideas, and get things moving fast, not just talk about them.”
Where do you see your startup in 1 year? And in 5 years?
“In a year, we see BeyondCode AI serving at least one Estonian bank and several other financial institutions, including internationally, in addition to our existing customers. In 5 years, BeyondCode AI will be a company with an annual revenue in the high seven to eight figures, where voice-based automation is a natural and widely used tool for financial institutions.”
Who will be the next (Estonian) unicorn?
“In our view, the next Estonian unicorn could be Milrem. Given the reality of our eastern neighbor and the security situation, it’s logical that Estonia’s defense industry must grow larger and more influential – and Milrem clearly has the potential to do that.”
Which books/podcasts/publications and influencers in your field do you follow and would recommend to other aspiring entrepreneurs?
“We mainly follow practitioners and mentors, including Charlie Morgan, Alex Becker, and Alex Hormozi. For early-stage founders, we recommend first defining the target market, problem, and solution very clearly. But just as important – often even more important – is mindset and discipline: without the right mindset, even the most profitable ideas in the world don’t matter, because you’ll simply give up – and only then have you truly lost. That’s why, alongside building a company, it’s worth consciously developing your identity, skills, and beliefs. ‘He who has a why, can bear almost any how’ – Friedrich Nietzsche.”
