In the dual-use and defense technologies focus area, Tehnopol supports startups developing dual-use technologies – solutions that can be applied in both the civilian and defense sectors. What support does Tehnopol offer?
Expert knowledge and support: Tehnopol’s international mentor network provides assistance in technology development, business model validation, and entering the defense market.
Funding and development opportunities through the NATO DIANA program:
- A 6-month acceleration program with €100,000 in funding;
- A follow-up program for stronger companies with up to €300,000 in funding;
- Access to more than 180 testing centres across the Alliance;
- The opportunity to participate in international defense projects and open export markets.
The NATO DIANA Estonian accelerator offers selected startups from NATO member states the opportunity to develop their product and business model. The program connects talented innovators with end users of new technologies, supporting the development of dual-use technologies and helping companies break into the traditionally closed defense market.
Internationalisation and networking: We provide comprehensive information to Estonian dual-use and defense technology companies, in addition to the opportunity to participate in international defense projects, attend community events, connect with investors through 1-1 meetings and demo days, and engage international mentors.
