Joint innovation for corporates and startups – How to?

The webinar does a deep-dive into startup-corporate collaboration programs and how to run them successfully.

Startup-corporate collaboration programmes are gaining popularity in the European tech ecosystem. With some very good examples of scouting innovation projects, the practice is still very young though and multiple industries are yet to take a leap towards it. However, with deep-tech startups, the matchmaking can be even more complex. The Scale-up Champions webinar shares two examples of how to do it – one from the world of fintech where big banks are known for scouting and accelerating good startup ideas. The other one comes from Estonia where the project Level11 was designed to foster matchmaking between two parties – big traditional industry companies and startups. And of course, we don’t forget an insight from a startup entrepreneur herself.

The webinar is hosted by Kadi Villers, Innovation Manager at Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol. Kadi’s own corporate success story comes from managing the Level11 programme where various industry companies and corporates were successfully matched with startups for joint innovation projects.

Kadi will be joined by Terje Ennomäe, CEO and Founder of Feelingstream whose clients are often big companies, if not corporates. Feelingstream’s original idea came from an actual leadership problem – why customers call. Terje found it hard to listen and feel the customer experience just asking the employees. It was clear that there needs to be a better way of discovering the customer experience. Now they have a product that transcribes, classifies and provides exciting visibility into customer conversations. Platform is created to discover new sales leads, indication for customer churn and process bottlenecks and errors discovery in the processes.

The corporate speaker, Joanna Misiewicz, is an Innovation Project Manager at one of the largest financial institutions in the CEE region. With over 1,6k bank branches and 11M clients, including over 4M in mobile channels, PKO Bank Polski is also actively involved in cooperation with tech companies. Joanna is responsible for building innovation partnerships at bank’s technology platform Let’s Fintech. She was involved in over 20 projects between the bank and startups, in areas such marketing, data analysis, branch experience and HR processes. Prior to joining the corporate world she was managing startup acceleration programs in Poland and the CEE.

Join us on 9 June at 15:00CET to learn more about how to bring innovation and game changing ideas to corporates.
