New members in cluster’s team: Innovation Manager Merilin Varsamaa and Project Manager Laura Vain

We are glad to announce that the Connected Health Cluster’s team has two new members: Innovation Manager Merilin Varsamaa (on the left) and Project Manager Laura Vain (on the right).

Merilin focuses on planning and managing innovation services directed at large corporations. She has previously worked as the advisor of the health system’s development department at the Ministry of Social Affairs, being part of various health related projects, and in Estonian telemedicine start-up Viveo Health as the Office & Operations manager. Merilin recently graduated Tallinn University of Technology cum laude, her thesis centred on digital solutions in the prevention of cervical cancer.

Laura focuses on managing the local and international projects of Connected Health Cluster and Science and Business Park Tehnopol. Laura has had various positions in the medical sphere, recently she worked at the Estonian telemedicine start-up Viveo Health where she was the manager of the medical team. She is currently an MA student at Tallinn University of Technology where she studies e-health and in her thesis she focuses on studying various health technology devices and their implementation.
