Ultrahack Talsinki track winner helps to make rental market easier and trustworthy

On the weekend on May 18-20 was held Ultrahack 2018 Sprint I, where over 150 hackers gathered to Airo island, the home of AI and Robotics, to hack innovative solutions in 48 hours. Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol was organising one of the tracks – Talsinki, which aim was to create a better commute or cooperation platform between Tallinn and Helsinki.

The other hacking tracks were Hack the Forest Data, Event Tech & Mobility Hack, ESA BIC Space Hack, AI Hack and Open Hack.

The winner of Ultrahack Talsinki track was Esotonian-Finnish startup Securebadger, whose software makes renting spaces more easy and trustworthy. The winning team received 3000 € in cash and an access to Tehnopol Startup Incubator programme for 6 month woth of 10 000 €. Also, an opportunity to pitch their project at the Arctic15 business event in Helsinki in front of international media and investors.

  

 

We also gave out special prizes and tickets to Latitude59, the flagship startup and tech conference of e-Estonia. The winners were Morora, a matchmaking solution for cargo and trucks and Greener Travel Gamified, an environmentally friendly travelling experience solution.
Tallink Eesti gave also a special prize to Offiship, who brings offices on the ships.
