The 15^th edition of the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), the world’s largest innovation competition for Galileo and further satellite navigation-related topics is scouting for new ideas until 31 July 2018!

The ESNC annually awards the best products, services, and business ideas making use of satellite navigation data: The navigation data can refer to the European space flagship programmes Galileo and EGNOS, but also to GPS, GLONASS or Beidou. With 141 partners and a EUR 1 Mio prize pool comprising cash prizes and in-kind services, the competition nowadays serves as accelerating instrument for space‐related entrepreneurs and start-ups and is the ideal entry point to access the European space-related incubator network including the ESA Business Incubation Centres (BICs).

The spectrum of submitted business ideas reflects the manifold opportunities made possible by satellite navigation: from sports and tracking, road and traffic management, safety and security, energy, aviation, logistics and many more application fields, individuals and entire industries alike can benefit from satellite navigation.
