It’s always compelling to hear how a startup was built and scaled – not just the polished version, but the key lessons, the missteps, the experiments, the trade-offs, and the ups and downs along the way.
Join our next Coffee Morning for an honest conversation with Aune Aunapuu, founder and CEO of Yaga, about what it really takes to build and scale a marketplace startup.
In this session, we will dive into the real story behind Yaga – from solving the classic marketplace chicken-and-egg problem in the early days to navigating growth, testing what works, learning from what does not, and making difficult decisions along the way.
Aune Aunapuu is the founder and CEO of Yaga. Under her leadership, Yaga has grown into the most popular second-hand marketplace in Estonia and South Africa, with more than 2 million users and over 6 million fashion items recirculated. She has built and managed to rapidly scale Yaga while staying focused on promoting more sustainable fashion consumption and advancing the circular economy. Yaga recently raised €4 million to continue expanding across Africa and the Middle East.
